[Daum] Wheein ends contract with RBW

Girl group member of MAMAMOO, Wheein, left her agency RBW, she expressed her feelings in a handwritten letter.

On the 12th, Wheein posted a picture on Instagram along with the caption, "I will show you a good side as both Wheein and MAMAMOO. Thank you for your support!"

The published photo shows Wheein telling fans her story with her own handwriting. Wheein said, " I am ready to leave RBW, my hometown, and move into a new environment; where we've been crying and laughing together for 10 years since we were trainees."

She added, "I'm really grateful to our MOOMOOs for sharing the brightest 7 years of my youth. From here on, I will work harder so that I can spend happier days with MOOMOOs and my members, and I'll also participate in many activities and repay you with good music!"

Meanwhile, RBW announced on the 11th that the exclusive contract with Wheein had officially been terminated. RBW said "MAMAMOO's Wheein has had in-depth discussions with the members and the company for a long time and from various angles, but in the end, decided not to renew the contract, so our exclusive contract will be terminated."

Additionally, "Because all 4 of us remain steadfast in our affection for MAMAMOO, Wheein signed an extension agreement with us until December 2023 for some activities, including the production of MAMAMOO's new album and solo concert appearances."
